BUMAX Lock Security Nut

BUMAX® SDX 109 fasteners are made from duplex stainless steel 1.4410 (UNS S32750), known for its exceptional corrosion resistance and mechanical strength.
TDI offers BUMAX® SDX 109 bolts in stock with dimensions ranging from M6 to M12, providing mechanical strength equivalent to class 10.9. Upon request, other dimensions and strength categories, up to 12.9, can be produced to meet your specific needs.
For applications requiring duplex stainless steel fasteners with a strength of 12.9, Bumax utilizes grade 1.4462 (UNS S32205), combining robustness and durability in demanding environments.

BUMAX Properties
- Corrosion: A range of products to ensure a reliable and durable fastening solution for every application and corrosive environment, with a molybdenum content exceeding 2.5%.
- Mechanical: Reduction of critical dimensions, clamping force, and tensile strength: BUMAX® offers strength classes ranging from steel class 8.8 to 16.9.
- Fatigue: All BUMAX® bolts are hardened by cold working and rolled at the threads to increase their resistance to fatigue and galling.
- Thermal: The resistance of BUMAX® fasteners to extreme temperatures is characterized by a wide thermal range, with service temperatures ranging from -269°C (4K) to 800°C.


BUMAX® Grades
Different grades of BUMAX® stainless steel are available for an optimal solution tailored to your needs.BUMAX® 88 and BUMAX® 109 are superior to standard A4 fasteners.
BUMAX® 109 uses the same material as BUMAX® 88; only the manufacturing process differs.
As a result, BUMAX® 109 offers greater strength and mechanical resistance compared to BUMAX® 88.
