TDI, an ISO 9001 - AFNOR certified company
In order to meet everyone's requirements (customers, standards, internal organisations), TDI is committed to implementing full traceability, from purchase to shipment. By 2018, we should be able to trace the entire journey of a batch of products through exchanges between the source of supply and the various shipments to our customers.
We have chosen to use barcodes for this purpose.
These are created during registration after our products have been checked on receipt. The document generated is called an FCE (entry control form), which contains all the information needed to trace the origin of the parts concerned.
A label is then printed and affixed to each box in the batch, with the barcode serving as the product's DNA.
All of this gives the company greater control over the flows passing through it and significantly reduces the risk of errors in order processing, ensuring optimum service and customer satisfaction.
Organisation and management
A management system is one that corresponds to the company's external internet context, its culture and its management style. This functional organisation allows each process and function manager to maintain their autonomy of action.
Service delivery process
The quality of the service provided is ensured by three major processes :
- Selling : Taking into account and processing the request, studying the requirements and the feasibility of the order.
- Purchasing : Searching for suppliers capable of meeting the terms of our ‘Supplier Quality Charter’.
- Preparation : Preparing, checking, shipping and tracking products in accordance with the requirements of the ISO 9001 standard.
