NYLSTOP® BRAND
SIMMONDS is the owner of the NYLSTOP brand. This is a variant of the self-locking nut, characterized by the use of a " TECHNYL " nylon locking ring . This ring is carefully crimped into a prepared seat on the top of the nut. The precision of the crimping and the special characteristics of nylon give the NYLSTOP screw/nut assembly incomparable advantages:
NYLSTOP preserves the screw thread (steel or stainless steel) at temperatures ranging from -50°C to +120°C for non-metallic ring nuts.
NYLSTOP ensures constant braking torque
NYLSTOP is reusable, with a minimum of 5 assembly/disassembly operations with specified values
NYLSTOP has a zinc-nickel-gray protection which gives them a 720-hour salt spray test life
NYLSTOP andidentification: marking of resistance class and manufacturer from diameter 5 upwards
Declination of the NYLSTOP SIMMONDS range
① Hexagon nuts diameters M2.5 to M52 in classes 8 and 10, also available in stainless steel A2-70 and A4-80. Standard zinc nickel gray coating.
