Description :
Flexible couplings are designed specifically for precision applications, especially those involving delicate components such as encoders and revolution counters. These multi-slot couplings deliver excellent performance in terms of torque and torsion. Static torque values are based on maximum misalignment. To obtain the dynamic torque value, the static characteristic values must be divided by 2 for non-reversible applications. Flexible couplings are fitted with 2 hexagon socket screws on each side.
COUPLING MATERIAL
Steel: C12L14 cold-drawn bar up to 5"1/4. C1117, C1117L or C12L14 bar from 5"1/2 to 7"3/4.
Aluminum: Aluminum bar 7075 - T651
Stainless steel: Bright finish
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
- Fit the coupling onto a half-shaft
- Align the two half-shafts to be joined
- Tighten the screws on one side of the coupling once it's in position
- Tighten the second side once the hub has been rotated to a position where there is no offset
