Pressure screw shaft clamp 25 x 40 x 16 steel

Clamps with a perpendicular locking screw are more suitable for mounting on shafts whose hardness is less than that of the clamp. They are fitted with a grub screw for high tightening torque and, consequently, improved clamping power. Forging the grub screws in stainless steel hardens them, improving hardness and therefore performance.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

- Use clamps as they are, do not degrease.
- Wipe bore clean
- Apply a thin coat of light oil to the shaft
- Place the clamp in the desired position and tighten until you feel a slight resistance.
- On two-part clamps, be sure to maintain the same gap between the two halves of the clamp
- Finally position the clamp and tighten the screws to the maximum recommended torque
