Interchangeable disc coupling 25 x 50.8 aluminium

These couplings are suitable for applications where movement is controlled. They consist of aluminum hubs facing each other and separated by a plastic disk housing drive pins. Their design facilitates sliding to compensate for misalignment under light loads. They electrically isolate the hubs, have low inertia and a balanced design particularly suited to high rotation speeds. Interchangeable discs are available in 2 materials:

- Nylon discs are designed for applications where vibration damping and noise reduction are desired.
- Acetal discs are recommended for precision applications where exact reproduction of motion and transmission of higher torques are required.

COUPLING MATERIALS

Steel: C12L14 cold-drawn bar up to 5"1/4. C1117, C1117L or C12L14 bar from 5"1/2 to 7"3/4.
Aluminum: Aluminum bar 7075 - T651
Stainless steel: Bright finish
