Our normal series flat washers are available in A2 stainless steel and meet the requirements of standards NFE 25-513 and NFE 25-514. These washers have a minimum hardness of 100 HV. A2 stainless steel accounts for over 65% of all stainless steel applications. The corrosion resistance of A2 stainless steel is superior to that of the main types of coating used in bolting, and is assessed by a PREN of 18. The use of a washer allows better control of the coefficient of friction under the head during tightening, preserving the part to be assembled and increasing the assembly height and therefore the elastic reserve of the threaded element. Our flat washers are available in a wide range of diameters.
