Stainless steel grade A2 accounts for over 65% of all stainless steel applications. Its corrosion resistance is superior to that of the main types of coating used in bolting applications, and is rated at PREN 18. This grade of stainless steel is widely used for screws in humid environments, where condensation is present, on fixed installations, in the food industry and so on.
