Stainless steel grade A2 accounts for over 65% of stainless steel applications. The corrosion resistance of A2 stainless steel is superior to that of the main coatings used in bolting, and is assessed by a PREN of 18. The large domed head eliminates the need for washers and is therefore aesthetically pleasing.
